Sid is the owner of Avian Ambassadors based in Tijeras, New Mexico. He founded Avian Ambassadors in 2003 to fulfill his dream of presenting entertaining and educational programs by combining his extensive experience in the entertainment industry with that of presenting wildlife in public programs.
In addition to presenting Avian Ambassadors’ Flights of Education programs through-out New Mexico and Arizona Sid is a frequent invited speaker at conferences and meetings around the country on the humane application of behavior science to bird training.
Sid has served on the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators (IAATE) board of directors since 2003: he is the chair of the IAATE web committee, chair of the investment committee, co-chair of the legislative committee, and is also the current IAATE president.
